What is your investment approach?
Gary Spencer has over 22 years’ experience in dealing with a wide range of clients. Clients include those with complex financial management needs - resulting from estates, aged care, special needs, dealing with loss or potential loss of a partner, and so on. Many clients who have demanding careers, or who prefer to spend time on their own creative pursuits or in other areas of life, desire accountability with elements of their finances, and some wish to totally outsource elements of their financial life. Clients who are coming up to retirement, or who are already retired, wish to carefully plan and protect their retirement nest egg with more certainty, and to optimise their strategies through maximising Centrelink and minimising tax.
In addition, Gary’s clients include people whose financial plans need to accommodate children or family members with special needs (see Gary’s website relating to this at www.spectrumplanning.com.au).
What type of clients do you work with?
This will depend on the level of service you choose but generally it will be a minimum of two face-to face meetings a year.
How often do you meet with your clients?
We invite you to call us to set up an initial consultation. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about Spencer Private Wealth and to determine whether you feel that we suit your financial advice requirements. It is also an opportunity for us to assess whether we feel that we can add value to your financial circumstances. This consultation is generally conducted free of charge, however, where specific one-off advice is required, we may charge an hourly rate of $440 (including GST).
How do I get started?
We welcome clients from other parts of Australia. Currently, we service clients in Brisbane and Perth, but our services are not limited to these areas. In some cases, we will need to use Skype to facilitate meetings.
Do you only provide financial planning to clients in Sydney?
